This Black and White Affair will help to raise funds for your local Valley Zoo and will feature designers and fashion from local Edmonton stores. The ZOOLander Fashion Show also gives the tractable animals of the Valley Zoo a chance to strut their stuff down the runway. Between each fashion line, zoo keepers will be bringing out some of our tractable “models”. This interactive addition to the show provides audience members a chance to be educated on some of their favourite animals.

The event itself will be 18+, hosting a cocktail lounge in the event tent on the Wander of the Zoo. The entire Zoo will be open for the evening so audience members will have a chance to see the recent and ongoing changes to the Edmonton Valley Zoo, as well as the additions to come in the next few years.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

BECOME A VALLEY ZOO AMBASSADOR

Children are fascinated by the natural world, especially by animals. By providing them with a fun setting in which they can learn about nature, we can create lifelong ambassadors for the long-term health of all species on our planet.

The Valley Zoo Development Society has made a commitment to raising nine million dollars in support of this project.

We need individual and corporate champions to help make Nature’s Wild Backyard a reality. We cannot do this without your support.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making Edmonton a better place for its residents and visitors, and those who want to play a vital role in inspiring new generations of earth ambassadors who care about and are committed to preserving our planet.
